Supporting Diverse Learners
This 5-course, 13 credit pathway facilitates the development of K-12 schools as organizational systems, the development of foundational skills related to working in a K-12 school environment, and awareness of the multiple dimensions of diversity represented in K-12 student populations. Emphasis will be placed upon the formation and practical application of professional skills and dispositions expected of individuals working in a K-12 school environment.

- EDU 112: Foundations of Education (3 credits)
- SED 201: Dimensions of Exceptionality (3 credits)
- SED 202: Communication & Collaborations in Special Education (3 credits)
- EDU 217: Working with Culturally Diverse Students (3 credits)
- EDU 359: Field Placement Lab (1 credit)
