O’Brien House; recruitment and campus tours

The Office of Admissions is now open during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and is scheduling campus visits and tours. New guidance for visitors is aimed at prioritizing the health and safety of our community. Please visit the Admissions site for detailed information.

For those who prefer a virtual experience, virtual admissions events are ongoing and a Virtual New Student Orientation is available.

Merrill Library

The library is open to students, faculty and staff via swipe card access. The Merrill Library website has posted hours as well as information about requesting materials and curbside pick-up for community members.

The library will remain open to students after classes move to remote instruction; please check the library website to confirm hours of operation.

Powers Hall

Powers Hall is open from 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Access outside of those hours is via Clipper card only.

Fitness and Aquatics Center

The Murdock Fitness and Aquatics Center is open to students and faculty only with limited hours of operation. The fitness center reinstated a temporary closure to community members on Nov. 3 in response to CDC data showing rising positive cases in Washington County. Art Gallery

The Art Gallery is open by appointment; hours and contact information are listed on the website.

Kilburn Commons/Machias Sodexo Dining Hall

The dining hall will serve all regular meals as “take-away” with no dine-in seating available. Under current guidance, the dining hall will be open to students and employees only.

There are no public campus events at this time. Guidance on public events is under development.
