Merrill Library Reopening
Merrill Library will reopen to the University of Maine at Machias Community on Monday, August 31, 2020. At this time, access to the building will be limited to UMM faculty, staff, and students.
To protect the health of library patrons and staff, we have implemented new procedures for in-person visitors. All patrons must enter through the main entrance and exit through the doors connecting Torrey Hall. Certain sections on the first floor will be limited to one-way traffic. All patrons will need a valid Clipper ID card to access the library. The 24 Hour Room function has been temporarily suspended – the space will be available for student use during regular library hours only.
