Bio:

For many years, Dr. Ball has worked in coordination with state and local educational agencies and leaders to facilitate the development of highly qualified teachers of students who have disabilities, through the delivery of accessible coursework and training in rural communities. In working to meet this goal, Ball has served as faculty and coordinator of the Education and Special Education Programs at the University of Maine at Machias and Director of the Washington-Hancock Regional Teacher Development Center. Dr. Ball is President of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Maine, Chair of the Eastern Maine Community College Education Program Advisory Board, Faculty Representative to the University of Maine System Board of Directors, and Regional Advisor for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Program in Hancock County.
