UMM to host Veterans Day Luncheon, Nov. 13

In honor of Veterans Day, the University of Maine at Machias will welcome military veterans and their loved ones to a free luncheon in the Reynolds Center conference room on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.  For more information or to request a reasonable accommodation, contact Jo-Ellen Scribner at 207.255.1228.

A full program of reflection and honor for our veterans will include opening remarks from Head of Campus Daniel Qualls and a music performance from the Washington Academy Chorus, accompanied by UMM adjunct professor Eustacia Landrum.

Classes at UMM will be cancelled on Nov. 11 in observance of the holiday.
