Celebrate UMM Day!

The University of Maine at Machias will hold its annual Celebrate UMM Day on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. This event celebrates the work of students in the areas of academics and community service, and includes student presentations, displays, videos, music and much more. The event will take place from 11 am to 1 pm in Torrey Hall and Science 102.  Members of the community are encouraged to attend.

Highlights for this year include previews of student documentary films; three-minute thesis presentations; displays of visual projects in art, publishing, book arts, GIS and science; and coffee made available by students who envisioned a local coffee shop as a class project. Top student displays will be recognized with awards.
