’23 Graduate Jeni Nganzobo Prepares for a Career in Medicine

Jeni Nganzobo is taking a gap year while she prepares to take her MCAT (Medical College Admission Test). A 2023 graduate with a degree in Intergrative Biology and a Pre-Professional concentration, Jeni is applying her skills learned at UMaine Machias through a sponsored gap year program for Maine healthcare students at Northern Light Health. The program, funded by the Maine Department of Labor, allows participants to recieve mentorship and training in healthcare.
