Library Support for Faculty at Merrill Library

Merrill Library partners with faculty to enrich the learning experience at UMM. We offer resources to support teaching, research, and collaboration. Faculty can also create an account for our ILLiad Interlibrary Loan service to access materials from other libraries. If you forget your username or password, please contact the Inter-Library Loan Department at Fogler Library for assistance.

Reserves form

We welcome faculty recommendations for new books, journals, or databases to support your curriculum and research. Please reach out to your Division Chair for information and support in requesting new collection materials.

Schedule library instruction tailored to your class’s research needs. Sessions can cover research methods, database navigation, or citation management tools like Zotero.

Collaborate with our librarians to develop research assignments or guide students through complex research projects. We offer both in-person and virtual support. Contact us for more information.

Reserve the Very Quiet Study room

Merrill Library’s Very Quiet Study Room offers a quiet space for faculty to work or attend virtual meetings. Faculty and student reservations take priority and can be made below, up to three hours daily.
