Faculty Inter-Semester Committee (FISC)

The Faculty Inter-Semester Committee (FISC) is intended to represent faculty interests and serve as a quasi-Faculty Meeting during periods other than the two “regular” academic semesters. The committee is made up of the Division Chairs and is chaired by the Vice President for Academic Affairs (or designee).

FISC members will be advised as far in advance as possible of the subject of a meeting to maximize the opportunity for proper consideration.

Accurate minutes of all FISC meetings will be kept and will be distributed to all faculty members.

The Committee, along with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, may determine when matters under consideration should be reviewed by a Faculty Meeting.
