Math Placement Exam (ALEKS Assessment)
About two thirds of the majors offered at UMaine, as well as many minors, require a specific course or courses in mathematics, or another course that necessitates placement in math. Unless you already have another source of placement information, the ALEKS PPL Assessment will be used to determine which math courses line up best with your math skills.
