Machias Food Pantry – Food Distribution Center

You will have the option to shop on Mondays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. OR Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please note that you may only visit the pantry 1 time per week.

The pantry is closed if schools are closed for inclement weather.
Presently, the pantry offers in house shopping. Remember to bring your reusable bags.
First-time visitors will be asked to complete a brief intake form.

Black Bear Exchange

The Black Bear Exchange is UMaine’s food pantry and clothing swap. They envisions a community where all those who work at and attend the University of Maine have equitable access to resources; and where creative, situation-specific collaborations are actively nurtured to meet needs. This community will also value the reuse of goods and seek to eliminate the waste of resources.
