UMaine Machias ranked most affordable LGBTQ-friendly campus in Maine

The University of Maine at Machias was recently ranked as the state’s most affordable LGBTQ-friendly school by Student Loan Hero, a company that helps borrowers organize, manage and repay student loan debt. Nationally, UMaine Machias ranked 25th.

Student Loan Hero integrated the Campus Pride Index list of LGBTQ-friendly colleges and universities with the latest tuition and fee data from the National Center for Education Statistics Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) to rank 136 public and private colleges and universities in the U.S.
