UMM women’s basketball team heading to Nationals

The University of Maine at Machias women’s basketball team has received the at-large bid for the 2019 USCAA National Tournament for Division II.  The tenth-seed Clippers will take on the seventh-seed Falcons from Davis College on Sunday, March 3 at noon in the first round of play.

This year’s team is comprised of: senior forward Alayna Caricofe, junior forward/center Tate Dolley, sophomore guard Caitlyn Lyons, first-year guard Abbey Allen, first-year guard Amber Chasse, and first-year guard Faith Tirrell.

The Clippers head into the national tournament with a conference record of 12-4 on the regular season. The tournament will take place in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Follow all the action at basketball.theuscaa.com.
