ADVISING FEST is scheduled for 9 am – 3 pm on November 17^th in Torrey Hall. We will invite “all hands on deck” to join us for food and fun while helping students to get registered for spring. All students who register for spring semester by 11/23 will be entered into a raffle for a pair of airpods! By encouraging students to register prior to Thanksgiving break, this will help to inform decisions about the ability for classes to run, identify the need for extra seats sooner rather than later, and reduce workload for the crunch time between returning from break and final exams (and over semester break!). We’d love to help get the word out about faculty advisor availability for drop-in or scheduling advising appointments – if you’ve got a schedule ready to share, please send it to Lori McBrine (lori.mcbrine@maine.edu). This will help us to connect students with faculty advisors and it will help us to reach out to you if questions arise.
