Emergency Announcements
In order to quickly communicate emergency information to the campus community, University of Maine at Machias has implemented the Blackboard Connect emergency notification system that allows anyone in the campus community to receive alerts or other emergency information via a text message on their mobile phone. Participation in Blackboard Connect is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged.

FEMA Hazard Mitigation Plan 2022
