Areas of Expertise
Professor Driscoll comes to UMM from Quincy, MA, where he served as Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Eastern Nazarene College, and adjunct instructor at Wentworth Institute of Technology of Boston, MA, and Marian Court College of Swampscott, MA. His teaching interests include business law, entrepreneurship, and non-profit management. While at Eastern Nazarene College, Professor Driscoll served as faculty advisor to the Student Investment Group, Microenterprise Fund, and Business Forum, and designed and built the campus Trading Room and Business Center.
Professor Driscoll received his Doctor of Law & Policy from Northeastern University. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University School of Law, Master of Business Administration from Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College. Professor Driscoll has earned Project Management certificates from Villanova University. He is a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker, and holds several trade licenses.
For nearly 25 years prior to his academic career, Professor Driscoll led entrepreneurial ventures in the trades and real estate across the Northeast. He has served as a board member, advisor or volunteer for several non-profit organizations, including Rebuilding Together/Boston, REACH-123, NECHAMA Disaster Response, and Persevere Disaster Relief. Professor Driscoll enjoys volunteering alongside his three sons – Bill, Jr., John, and Jaime – and since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, has participated in 50+ recovery and relief projects to federally declared disaster zones.
