E2103 – The State of Maine Birds – Maine Audubon

with Nick Lund

Free Register

Bird populations in Maine are constantly changing.  A total of 445 species have been recorded in Maine.  Some have been here for a long time while others are fairly new.  Some are accidental and others introduced.  A few of those species have been extirpated and we may never see them again.  Maine Audubon will explain some of the major changes and fluctuations occurring with Maine avian fauna.

Instructor:  Nick Lund is Maine Audubon’s Network and Outreach Manager.  He writes regular columns about nature for National Audubon, the Portland Phoenix, the Maine Sportsman, and other publications.
