Yes, but uploading your card is fast and easy to do. Vaccination verification requires students to upload a copy of their vaccination card to the secure campus portal<\/a> in order to be exempt from on-campus COVID-19 testing upon arrival. Students presenting their vaccination cards upon arrival who have not uploaded a copy of their vaccination cards in the portal will need to participate in COVID testing.  <\/p>\n

Currently, vaccinated UMaine or UMaine Machias students and employees who have verified their status by uploading their vaccination cards to the secure campus portal<\/a> are exempt from on-campus COVID-19 testing upon arrival and throughout the fall semester. Exemption from testing is for those who are fully vaccinated. An individual is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving a J&J shot or 14 days after their second Pfizer or Moderna shot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
