We are<br \/>\neagerly awaiting your return to campus. We&#8217;re ready to engage with you<br \/>\nand your students!<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re available to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduce students to library resources and services<\/li>\n<li>Provide Library instruction &#8211; sessions focused on specific<br \/>\nassignments. Students are more motivated to learn if the<br \/>\ninstruction is relevant to an assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Meet with faculty and\/or students &#8211; individually, as a group, or an<br \/>\nentire class &#8211; to demonstrate discipline specific resources and how<br \/>\nto navigate the library website, including library services such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>interlibrary loan<\/li>\n<li>Course Reserves<\/li>\n<li>citation management tools<\/li>\n<li>ask for input on collection development\n<ul>\n<li>Serials, journals<\/li>\n<li>database requests<\/li>\n<li>research guide suggestions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As you&#8217;re planning your courses, set aside a few minutes for a librarian to<br \/>\ndrop in to introduce themselves, or for a few more minutes for an<br \/>\nexploration of the library website!<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Faculty, Merrill Librarians are gearing up for the Fall Semester.
