MyCampus Portal UMaine Community Boards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While the project to retire FirstClass in May 2018 progresses, steps are being taken to recreate some of its functionality in alternative solutions. An important part of FirstClass has always been the UMaine community-wide announcement\/for sale conferences. Steps are being taken to replace these conferences with &#8220;UMaine Community Boards&#8221; on the MyCampus UMaine Portal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here are the initial categories that will be available:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Announcements and Alerts<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Community Events<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Job Board<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lost and Found<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtual Yard Sale<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Commencement Ticket Swap<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new Portal announcement boards will become active during\u00a0the fall semester.
