Book signing with Dr. David Goodrich
Book signing with Dr. David Goodrich
April 20, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Merrill Library
Dr. David Goodrich will be at the Merrill Library to read from and sign copies of his critically acclaimed book “A Hole In The Wind: A Climate Scientist's Bicycle Journey Across The United States.” The book details his journey from Delaware to Oregon, sharing information and speaking with others about climate change. Through fracking country, across the plains, up the Rockies to Glacier National Park, and finally rolling to stop in the Pacific Northwest, Goodrich collected land stories and history stories that lend a unique narrative thread to his insightful book. His goal was to approach the issue of climate change in a way that inspires action rather than indifference or depression.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
You can also hear Dr. Goodrich speak on his observations Saturday, April 21 at 9am, to kick off an Earth Day celebration at the UMM PAC.
