Zach Armstrong Named YSCC Player of the Week
The Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) has announced that Zach Armstrong (Waldoboro, Maine), a senior forward for the University of Maine at Machias Clippers men's basketball team, has been named Player of the Week for December 11, 2011.
Armstrong led the Clippers to a 3-0 week with wins over UMaine Presque Isle, Central Maine Community College, and Nashua Community College. He scored 43 points and shot 62% from the field including 6-14 from the three point line. He added 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals.
