Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics
The University of Maine at Machias invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics starting Fall, 2013 for up to three years dependent on annual renewal.
The successful candidate for the Assistant Professor rank will have a doctorate in Mathematics or related field (salary $44,256); applicants with a completed Master’s or A.B.D. status may be considered at the Instructor rank (salary $36,808). The candidate’s primary interest and commitment must be to quality instruction, with a particular interest and expertise in teaching developmental math. Demonstrated success in teaching at the introductory undergraduate level is preferred. The normal teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
