UMM to Host Community Holiday Party Dec. 19

Donations to Benefit Machias Food Pantry

MACHIAS, Maine – The University of Maine at Machias will host its annual Community Holiday Party on Monday, December 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Kilburn Commons. The event is free and open to the public, and will feature food and games for all ages to celebrate the holiday season.

To help provide for local residents in need, UMM will be accepting donations for the Machias Food Pantry at the door. Items of greatest need for the food pantry include paper goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues, and any non-perishable food items, such as canned goods and pasta.
