Student Films Premiere
Location: Portside, Kimball Hall
Students in the Downeast Documentary and Digital Video Production courses will show their fall semester films during a premiere on Wednesday, December 18, in Portside, Kimball Hall. There will be two identical showings, one at 12:30 p.m. and another at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The four short films that will be shown include:
"Salesman" is a visual representation of a poem written and directed by Colton Abrams. It takes the viewer through the emotional struggle of a man trying his best to be strong for the ones that need him most.
"World Apparent Trailer"
"World Apparent Trailer" is the semi-official trailer for the in-progress comedy "World Apparent," a story about a self-obsessed writer who steals the ability to narrate her own life.
"First Woman, Part 1"
"The First Woman: Part I" sets the mood for a supernatural, modern crime tale about the consequences two mobsters face after their boss uncovers the fabled Pandora's Jar.
"Two Rivers" examines the cultural, historical, economic and environmental importance of the St. Regis pasture in Machias, Maine.
