Poetry Slam

Location: Portside, Kimball Hall

MACHIAS, Maine – The competitive art of performance poetry will hit the stage when the University of Maine at Machias hosts a poetry slam on Thursday, April 5. The slam will start at 7 p.m. in the Portside room of Kimball Hall.

Members of the Portland-based group Port Veritas will be on hand to perform some of their poems and then the stage will open up for audience members to perform their own work.
