UMM Basketball Coach Brady Records 100th Win

Brac BradyMACHIAS, Maine – University of Maine at Machias men’s basketball coach Brac Brady recorded his 100th win in a 63-57 victory over UMaine-Presque Isle on Tuesday, December 6. Brady has compiled a 100-73 record in seven seasons at UMM.

The 2011-12 season is Brady’s 13th as a collegiate head coach. He began his coaching career at Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida, where he led the men’s basketball team for six seasons.

Brady came to UMM in October 2005, when he started as the assistant athletic director, head men’s basketball coach, and cross country coach. In May 2007, he took on the role of athletic director while continuing to head the men’s basketball team.

A 1996 graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic College, Brady earned Academic All-America honors and set school records for three-pointers in a game, season, and career while playing for the Sailfish. He was named conference rookie athlete of the year in 1994.

UMaine-Machias is a member of the USCAA and competes in the Yankee Small College Conference.
