Tenure Approved for Two UMM Faculty Members

MACHIAS, Maine – At their March 18th meeting, the University of Maine System Board of Trustees approved tenure for two University of Maine at Machias faculty members, Meghan Duff and Andrea Ednie.

Duff has taught at UMM since 2007 as assistant professor of psychology. She completed her B.S. in Physical Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. With tenure she will become associate professor of psychology.

Ednie has taught at the University since September 2007 as assistant professor of environmental recreation and tourism management. She completed her B.A. in Kinesiology and M.A. in Recreation and Natural Resources from the University of New Brunswick, and her Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Maine. With tenure she will become associate professor of environmental recreation and tourism management.

The promotions take effect in September 2013.
