Guest Policy
For safety and security, anyone inside one of the residence halls that does not live in that specific residence hall will be considered a guest of that residence hall. With that, guests must follow the following procedures for entering the residence hall:
- Guests are allowed to stay overnight for a maximum of 48 hours per two week period.
- Hosts are only allowed to sign in a maximum of two (2) guests at a time
- All occupants of the room must agree to any overnight visits from guests
- Guests under 18 years of age must have parental permission
- The front desk is open from 7p.m. - Midnight, Sunday - Thursday and from 7p.m. - 1a.m. Friday and Saturday.
- If a guest is in the building prior to the Front Desk opening, it is the responsibility of the host and guest to come back to the front desk at 7:00p.m. to get signed in.
- Residents who are accepting guests into the building are accepting responsibility for the actions of their guests
How to Sign into the Residence Hall
Off Campus Visitors and Students will need to be signed into the residence hall during the time the Front Desk is open
- Must have a host sign you into the building you are visiting and must be with that host while in the building (exceptions include using the restroom, showering, etc).
- Must have a valid State ID (License, Passport, ID, etc)
- Must have a current address
On Campus Visitors and Students will need to be signed into the residence hall during the time the Front Desk is open
- Must have a host sign you into the building you are visiting. On Campus students do not need to stay with their host the entire time, however hosts are strongly encouraged to stay with their guests at all times
- Must have a valid ID (Clipper Card, License, Passport, ID, etc)
- Must give the place they live on campus
