High School Transitions Advisor, Early College Program Coordinator and Native American Waiver and Education Program Coordinator
I was born and raised in Downeast Maine. I graduated from Machias Memorial High School and earned by bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology at Bowdoin College. I also completed the teacher certification program at UMM. For the past 12 years my work has consisted of providing students with academic, career, and financial aid advising. I have worked as a GEAR UP Advisor for School Union 102, a Maine Educational Talent Search Advisor through the University of Maine for various Washington County high schools, and a JMG Specialist at Machias Memorial High School. I am also a licensed social worker as well as a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. I live in Jonesport with my husband, Nate, and my three children- Hailey, Tyler, and Anderson. In my free time you can usually find me attending my children’s extracurricular activities. I love to read, scrapbook, and take pictures.
