End-of-Semester Concerts at UMM

MACHIAS, ME – The Interdisciplinary Fine Arts program at the University of Maine at Machias has announced its schedule of end-of-the-semester concerts; all events are free and open to the public.

UMM Folk GroupMonday, May 3
Town Band, Belly Dancers, Jazz Combo, and Folk Group
7 p.m. – Performing Arts Center

Tuesday, May 4
Community Chorale
The chorale will celebrate composers’ birthdays, as well as some of conductor Gene Nichols’ favorite selections from his 25 years at UMM. Lee McBride and Jane Hinson will serve as accompanists.
7 p.m. – Performing Arts Center

Friday, May 7
UMM Pop Band
The pop band will perform favorites from many eras and styles, including originals by Hollister Mattraw.
8 p.m. – Portside, Kimball Hall
