Sport and Fitness Management: A Diverse Field
UMM offers two distinct options to prepare you for a career in Sport and Fitness management. The Business option prepares you for a career focusing on the administration of sports in a corporate or office setting. The Recreation option prepares you for a career focusing on the direct delivery of sports, fitness and recreation programs to participants.

If you see yourself in an office working to plan, organize and coordinate business functions and services to enhance the operation, the Business option is suited for you. If you see yourself in the gym or on the field working face-to-face with people teaching, coaching, and leading activities, the Recreation option is designed for you.
The Business option is offered within the Business and Entrepreneurial Studies degree program while the Recreation option is offered within the Environmental Recreation and Tourism Management degree program.
