Joni graduated from the University of Maine at Machias in 1985, earning a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management with a minor in small business management. She is a Vice President, Senior Operations Project Manager, Customer Experience Group and Protection Products and Operations with Bank of America. She joined Bank of America in 1995. Throughout her 17 years with the company, Joni has worked in six different lines of business, including New Account Acquisition, Customer Sales & Service, Human Resources, Customer Marketing, Revenue Enhancements, and currently with the Protection Products and Operations group.

Ray attended Rhode Island Junior College where he studied business and criminal justice. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias with a degree in recreation management and served as class president. In 1986 he graduated as a member of the 39th Training Troop for the Maine Sate Police where he served as class vice president and earned the professionalism and fitness wards. He is currently enjoying his 26th year with the Maine State Police and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel/Deputy Chief.

Katherine KuligKatherine Kulig

Laboratory Manager and Senior Research Technologist at Mass General

Katherine Kulig is a Laboratory Manager and Senior Research Technologist in the Laboratory for Tissue Engineering and Organ Fabrication in the Center for Regenerative Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. She is a 2000 graduate from the University of Maine at Machias where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology, minor in chemistry, and a concentration in marine biology. Her research includes working with microfabricated capillary-like channels in a synthetic polymer for liver-organ regeneration and utilizing natural extracellular matrixes for regeneration of tissue such as bone or cartilage. She has co-authored peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and presented her work at major conferences. Her lab was featured on the Public Broadcasting Service (NOVA), National Geographic, and the British Broadcasting Corporation. She is a member of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society. Katherine is an active mentor and volunteer in the Boston community.
