DESCRIPTION: Quality Assurance Technicians ensure quality of processes,
raw materials, and finished products through inspection, diagnosis and
record keeping in a high volume, light manufacturing environment.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform frequent line inspections.
Conduct sanitation and cleaning activities.
Conduct a variety of tests and use various test equipment in both production and lab settings.
Data analysis.
Communicate with production technicians and team leaders to resolve quality issues.
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS Degree Biology required
Prior quality assurance experience required
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. as needed
Ability to frequently stand, bend, stoop and lift for a prolonged period of time
Knowledge of EPA and FDA regulations for water and waste disposal
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
