Banned Books Read-Out to be Held Sept. 28

MACHIAS, Maine – The University of Maine at Machias will celebrate the freedom to read during the annual Banned Books Week, September 24–October 1. The public is invited to join UMM faculty, staff, and students from 4–5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28 for a Banned Books Read-Out in the Portside room of Kimball Hall. Participants will read passages from their favorite banned and challenged books.
