Biographical Sketch:

Meghan Wilson Duff is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in UMM's Psychology and Community Studies Program. Meghan is originally from southern Vermont. She has a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH. She previously worked as a child & family therapist and an adolescent substance abuse treatment provider. Her undergraduate majors at Emory University were Russian Language & Linguistics and Physical Anthropology & Human Biology. Meghan was a 2003-2004 NH/VT Schweitzer Fellow while completing her graduate work. The Schweitzer Fellowship was started to develop leaders in service from different professions to address health and wellness needs of communities and achieve health equity. Meghan continues to be involved with the Schweitzer Fellowship. Her service work influences her teaching, and she is happy to be part of program that integrates Service Learning and Community Engagement (SL/CE) throughout the curriculum. Meghan currently helps support the Machias Cohort of the University of Southern Maine's Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. The Machias Cohort makes it possible for students in Washington County to attain their Masters via a combination of distance technology and local classes while remaining in county.
