Maine Regional Brain Bee
Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the University of Maine at Machias
UMaine-Machias will host the first ever Maine Regional Brain Bee for students in 8th through 12th grades on Saturday, February 8, 2014. The regional competition is associated with the International Brain Bee, a not-for-profit neuroscience competition founded by Dr. Norbert Myslinski of the University of Maryland. The competition is intended to increase high school students’ interest in the brain and inspire them to pursue careers in brain research. The Maine Regional Brain Bee is being organized by UMM's Psychology and Community Studies program with support from faculty at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and the University of New England.
