Mac Sennett Lobster Feed & Class Reunion

The Mac Sennett Lobster Feed, a tradition for University of Maine at Machias alumni since 1977, returns to the UMM campus—on the same weekend the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival is in town.
Machias will be abuzz with activity, and this will be a weekend to remember.

During the day we'll hold the Alumni Association Annual meeting, Alumni Reception & Auction, and the Mac Sennett Lobster Feed.
Schedule of Events:
All Day – The 37th Machias Wild Blueberry Festival
Organized by the Centre Street Congregational Church, the festival fills the streets and parking lots with crafts, activities and—always a highlight—the annual home-spun musical. This year’s production is to be announced. For more information visit www.machiasblueberry.com. Tickets are available for $13 each.
12 p.m. – Check-In
Meet us in the lobby of Kimball Hall to get your name tag, dinner and musical tickets, and details regarding lodging in the residence halls. You should have time to stroll around campus before the Annual Meeting begins.
3 p.m. – Alumni Association Annual Meeting

4 p.m. – Alumni Reception & Auction

Lobsters & steamers or barbecued chicken, served with corn on the cob, salads, and dessert. A dinner program will honor the Classes of 1961 and 1962, and recognize the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
Dinner Prices:
Lobster (1) and Steamed Clam Dinner = $28 per person
Lobsters (2) and Steamed Clam Dinner = $38 per person
Barbecued Chicken Dinner = $16 per person
Child's (5-12 years) Chicken Dinner = $7.50 per person
Bring Your Bathing Suit and Exercise Apparel!
The Fitness Center will be available free of charge for your use on Friday and Saturday (pool schedule distributed at check-in).
Staying in the Dorms?
You can stay in a residence hall on Friday, August 17 and/or Saturday, August 18 for $20 per room (couple or single), per night. Room key pick-up is from 5–8 p.m. Friday at Dorward Hall and 12–3 p.m. Saturday at Kimball Hall.
