Our Campus: The Perfect Natural Setting
The University of Maine at Machias is a small, Environmental Liberal Arts college nestled along Maine's spectacular rugged Bold Coast. Forests, rivers, and rocky coastlines surround our 243-acre campus and serve as an integral part of the educational experience. At UMM, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with your environment. Explore the Environmental Liberal Arts in a pristine natural setting where you can read a book by the pond, go for a hike on the campus trails, or pause for reflection in the labyrinth.
