Kayla Wood Scores 1,000th Career Point

Senior guard Kayla Wood (East Machias, Maine) reached the 1,000 career point mark in the University of Maine at Machias Clippers' February 12th home win against New Hampshire Technical Institute. Wood went into the game needing just 6 points to reach the scoring milestone, and went on to tally 21 points and 6 assists in her team's 74-58 win over NHTI.
The Clippers return to home court action on Wednesday night, February 15, when they take on UMaine-Augusta at the Reynolds Center.
