MACHIAS, Maine – The University of Maine at Machias has announced that Katie Kurz has been hired as the institution’s assistant director of financial aid.

Having grown up here, and having been a UMM student myself I have a lot of pride in this community. I’m excited to have the opportunity to positively affect the experience students will have here.”
“We are very pleased that Katie has returned to UMM,” said Stephanie Larrabee, director of financial aid. “Katie brings extensive financial aid knowledge and experience to this position which will enhance the University’s recruitment and retention efforts.
