Food Pantries the Focus of April 28 Community Listening Session

MACHIAS, Maine – A community listening session aimed at increasing support for local food pantries will be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the University of Maine at Machias. The session is free and open to the public, and will take place in the Portside room of Kimball Hall.

Food security professionals and staff from local food pantries will be on hand to discuss how food insecurity is affecting the area and what the community can do to strengthen support for pantries in Washington County.
