You will have the opportunity to register for classes, meet faculty, advisors, academic and student affairs staff, experience the residence halls, and explore the natural beauty of the Machias area.

Students are strongly encouraged to attend CORE.  The event provides a great opportunity to meet with your future classmates, pick your roommate for the year, build friendships, make memories, and get to know the campus better before classes begin in the Fall. It is a great way to get a head start on your college experience!

CORE is free for admitted students. UMM provides meals, lodging, supplies, and transportation for events and programs. Family members are also encouraged to attend, as they are an important part of this journey for students! We have workshops and sessions planned especially for family.  There is a small fee of $40.00 for each family member. The fee covers lodging, meals, and transportation.

Please take a moment to review the CORE schedule by clicking on the link to the right.  If you plan on attending CORE, please complete the registration form.  You'll receive a confirmation packet in early June with directions, updated schedules, and room assignments.
