Clipper Orientation, Registration, and Excursions (CORE)
Mark your calendars and plan to join us on June 24 & 25, 2016 for Clipper Orientation, Registration, and Excursions - or CORE for short. CORE is our summer program designed to assist students prepare for their UMM experience. During CORE, you will have the opportunity to register for classes, meet faculty, academic and student affairs staff, experience the residence halls, and explore the natural beauty of the Machias area.
We encourage students to attend CORE as it provides a great opportunity to meet your future classmates, find your potential roommate for the coming year, build friendships, make memories, and get to know the campus a little before classes begin in the fall.
CORE is free for admitted students and UMM provides meals and lodging in our residence halls. Family members are also encouraged to attend, as they are an important part of their student's journey! We have workshops and sessions planned especially for family members. There is a small fee of $40.00 for each family member, which covers lodging and meals.
If you plan on attending CORE, please complete the registration form by clicking the link to the right. Around mid-June, we will email you a CORE packet with directions to campus, a schedule of events, and room assignments.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call Dan Gardner at (207) 255-1248.
