Soliya Connections
Justin Procter, Fall 2006

When given the liberty to choose a GIS I final project, I decided that the Soliya course I was taking, which happens to be a rather new and developing program, was lacking a visual for both promotional and educational purposes.  Soliya is an interactive course that focuses on building links between the college students in the States and college students in the Middle East.  But furthermore, the connection is supposed to go beyond that, allowing participants to understand and explore the reasons as to why the West and the Arabs have such a deteriorating relationship, while attempting to propose solutions as to how these nations can come together to resolve their differences and create a new future between their peoples.
