Landcover of the Narraguagus River Watershed

Mike Lachance, Fall 2007

The project I did was given to me by William Otto, Associate Professor of Chemistry here at UMM. Professor Otto and Mark Whiting have been working on a water quality analysis of the Narraguagus River. I was asked to symbolize the different types of land cover within the watershed and around the data sondes that they had placed in the water. The data sondes are small devices that are placed in the water to measure chemical levels in the water and other information such as flow rate. The map below symbolizes the different types of land cover along three different sections of the watershed based off of the data sonde locations.
